The T-Shirt Dress

Well I love the site Made by Lex. She makes such great clothing. Awhile back she did a dress that I loved. This dress I did is loosely based on that dress, minus the bib section. I used one of Katelin's old t-shirts and we bought some fabric for the bottom. She likes it, I like it, and now I've got to make one for myself!!

The Yearlong Ruffle Shirt

I have been working on this shirt for what seems like forever!! I bought the fabric last year. I started this last fall, put it aside, then picked it up again in the winter, then put it aside, then I thought I really need to finish this!! So I finally did and I love it! It's really soft and I love the ruffles!

I used McCall's 2599, the pattern was a wee bit boxy for my liking, so I took it in based off a shirt I already have.

Easter Dress

I know I don't have any girls, but I made an Easter dress for my niece, Sydney. I had started with a pattern but pretty much threw it out the window because it wasn't working the way I wanted. The little rosette on top is the clip for her hair. I'll hopefully get a picture of her wearing it soon.

Ties

Awhile back I across this blog, Trey and Lucy and she has some really great tutorials and lots of cute stuff going on over there. I love the ties and have made several since.

These ones I made for R using this tutorial. I used an old pair of corduroy shorts for the backs which makes it a little more sturdy, I like how it frays around the edges.

He loves to pick out which one he wants to wear

These tie onesies a friend asked me to make some for her new little boy
I used this tutorial, except I kept the tie all one piece

I can't wait to see him in them!
