My friend told me about this cute wreath she had seen on Our Best Bites. She said she immediately thought of me, because I've made quite a few of those rolled flowers. I picked up the wreath at Walmart for $3.50 and the silver accent was $ .75, not too shabby. So I just rolled these flowers with the material I had from the yo-yo necklace and glued them onto felt and then glued them onto the wreath. Quick, easy and festive. This is another thing that B had on his Christmas list that is now crossed off!

Yo-Yo Necklace
I've seen these necklaces before, they sell some really cute ones on Etsy. I wanted to try my hand at one. I wanted the colors to be somewhat holiday-ish. I loved these fabrics at the store so this is what I came up with.
After looking at it, I felt like it needed something else, so I added some beads to the centers.
I brought this to the Girl's Night Gift Exchange and I want to make one for me in alternating colors so we don't match! But I love how it turned it, and it was really fun to make.

Fabric Necklace Goodness
I've wanted to make one of these necklaces for soooo long. And I noticed I had a few rolled flowers that I never did anything with, so I decided it was time for a necklace.
This is what I did:
Rolled the flowers and hand sewed them.
I got a piece of felt for the back and glued the flowers on the way that I wanted them.
Then I got a chain and fit it to the length I wanted and added a toggle to the ends.
Then I sewed the ends of the chains onto the felt, the end!
I think I want to make one for Christmas too!
